Keep Calm and Carry On

Ahhhh, the joys of a return.

Went out last night with a few people from my old workplace. It's nice to be able to re-connect with people after an absence... I felt like I'd never been away.

But in a good way, this time.

So, I'm feeling happier. I've decided that the depressive kick I'd been on for the past few weeks has got to stop. Oh, yes.

Which of course it will, merely because I've said so. I have the power.

Which is my seamless segue into the next thing I wanted to talk about.

I watched the Masters of the Universe movie on Wednesday. For the first time in about ten years. And I've discovered I still love it. I loved it when I was a kid mainly because of Dolph Lundgren. He always looked incredibly yummy in nought but leather... Mmmm. Leather.

But now, I love it for sheer tackiness of the whole thing.

I was also astounded that the character name 'Evil Lyn' seemed perfectly reasonable to me as a child. It has me in stitches now... Lyn? Why not just call her 'Nasty Doris' and be done with it?

Ahem. Anyway - I'm not sure what the point in that entry was, but I wanted to say it.
