Keep Calm and Carry On

So I started back at lectures today.

I was quite looking forward to it. I needed to get back to a routine to forget the horror of my exams.

Besides. Learning Is Fun.

At least it was until the first lecture involved going over things that I learned when I was about 12. Drawing a tangent to a curve to get a gradient? Please! I was all prepared for the guy to differentiate from first principles (which is always good for a giggle, especially if it goes wrong in the middle of an expansion) when he pulled out one of those big rulers for drawing on the board, and made the gradient triangle.

Which immediately caused my entire row to erupt into giggles (sparked by me, I am ashamed to admit) while trying to look like we cared.

Anyway...

I'm going to go into town to get a beard trimmer. I've decided that I quite like the stubbled look, but my stubble grows so slowly that I'd only achieve the desired effect every five days. Seriously. I only really need to shave once a week.

So I won't shave it off entirely, I'll just trim it to the desired length.
