Keep Calm and Carry On

I phoned my friend's mum last night. He's ok. Turns out he was in a cab on the way to work when it happened, so he saw it all unfold (he works in a building near the WTC). So, I am numbingly relieved at this news.

I can only feel for those without such good news.

I wanted to give blood yesterday, as both my parents did.

Unfortunately, it seems no-one wants my diseased faggot blood. At least, that's the way it comes across.

Despite the fact I get tested frequently and am clean, I can't give blood because I'm gay. Condemned without trial.
