Keep Calm and Carry On

So I was back at work today. It's amazing how quickly you settle back to routine. And how it feels as if you've never been away...

I'm still fairly euphoric at getting my university place. It's exciting to think that I'll finally be getting away from here. I love London, but it's time for change.

When I announced to some colleagues at work that I would be leaving to go to university, I was surprised to hear one woman cry "Yessss! Celia - you owe me a fiver!"

I was astounded - they were laying bets as to whether I would go or not? Bloody cheek of it. But funny, too. And it shows they care, which is not always true of a working environment.

The funniest line had to go to my friend Dave. When I said I would be 'living in penury' for the three years of my course, he asked me whether that was outside Cardiff...

I kid you not.

Anyway... I wasted some time making a links page, so you know where to go if your not on this page. I couldn't resist leaving Spike in the corner, though. Because we all need someone pretty to look at - Accept him as my gift to you.
